Wake Enterprises (WE)/Apis Management Services (AMS) is seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers to provide direct care support to people with developmental disabilities in one of our day programs. No experience? No problem! On the job paid training. Candidates must enjoy teaching, coaching and encouraging others to reach their goals.
Part-time and Full-time positions are available at Raleigh locations. All positions are Monday to Friday. Starting rate: $10.50/hour.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist persons served at all times to develop relationships and participate in the community activities.
- Provide services to individuals on site or in community settings.
- Assist with direct care support with daily living activities such as mealtime and personal care.
- Implement positive behavior support plans and record data accurately and on time.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information by following applicable privacy laws and regulations.
- Maintain at all times a professional, safe and healthy environment.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Criminal background and drug screen clearances
- Some positions require a valid driver license
- Flexibility is a must.
